11 Yellow-collared Scape Moth Cisseps fulvicollis C 16-Jun 4-Nov FD Common day flier, especially at Seaside Goldenrod.
12 Banded Tussock Moth Halysidota tessellaris C 25-Jun 23-Jul F, L Max 7 on 25 June 01. Nectars on milkweeds outside Visitor Center.
12 Milkweed Tussock Moth Euchaetes egle L 25-Jun 25-Jun Adults: (2) 25 June 95 (DP). Distinctive larvae noted 9 Sept. 84 (GT).
13 Pink-legged Tiger Moth Spilosoma latipennis L 8-Jun 8-Jun One record: 8 June 87.
13 Virginian Tiger Moth Spilosoma virginica F 8-Jun 2-Sep L Max. (4) on 3 Aug 93. Larva: "Yellow Woolly Bear".
13 Delicate Cycnia Cycnia tenera U 10-Jun 24-Aug L A day-flyer often found on dogbane plants. JBWR records at lights.
13 Salt Marsh Moth Estigmene acrea L 11-Aug 11-Aug One record of pair in copula on 11 Aug 86.
14 Isabella Tiger Moth Pyrrharctia isabella U 13-Jun 17-Aug L Max 3 on 22 June 88. Broods in June and Aug. Larva called "Woolly Bear" seen in the fall.
14 Virgin Tiger Moth Grammia virgo L Not uncommon day-flyer outside city. One record at JBWR in July 91 (DR).

15 Bella Moth Utetheisa bella R 3-Oct Common day-flyer in deep south, rare late summer stray northward. JBWR records Sept 87 (DP), July 94 (DP, JZ). Also at Riis Park 3 Oct 99 (SW).
16 Giant Leopard Moth Ecpantheria scribonia L Two records: 21 June 97, June 00 (DR). Larva found in June 92 (JZ).
