HMANA continually brings you exciting new opportunities to witness raptors in new locations as well as revisiting past favorites. We choose guides with local knowledge to provide you with an immersive experience and the knowledge that only those who are part of the area can truly express.
We ask our tour guides not only to lead tours, but also to summarize the experiences of those who they led. Our past tour summaries provide you with both a written and visual review. Read through them and you’ll quickly want to register for one of our upcoming tours!
Come read about a new series of events HMANA is rolling out with our Northern New England Meetup. Our meetup took place over a weekend as we visit two different locations and check in on raptors in October.
Our trip to Whitefish Point in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula featured all manner of experiences, from raptors to weather. Join our guides as they recap the trip that our participants thoroughly enjoyed.
HMANA’s 2016 River of Raptors Tour coincided with International Hawk Migration Week. During the trip the watch sites visited tallied over 550,000 migrant raptors.
HMANA’s 2010 tour of Costa Rica witnessed over 393 species of birds as we toured over various regions. That’s nearly half the species in Costa Rica. Of course there we experienced more than a wide variety of birds on this trip.
