HMANA Virtual Raptor Conference

We are pleased to announce the Hawk Migration Association of North America’s Virtual Raptor conference, scheduled for July 28-31.

Since 1974 HMANA has hosted a conference every three-to-four years. Join us online for our sixteenth symposium!

The conference is open for registration. Early bird pricing extends through June 1, 2021.

HMANA hosts the conference with the support of partner organizations and sponsors Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, HawkWatch International, Michigan Audubon, the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge Alliance, Swarovski Optik of North America, and more!

Registration: Registration is now open. Early registration pricing ends on June 1.

Registration Funding: Calling all raptor enthusiasts! 

HMANA has limited funds to cover the cost of registration for those in need. To apply, please submit a short essay (no more than 1000 words) by 11:59 pm EDT, June 1st, 2021, describing your need and interest in the conference and submit as an attachment, with “HMANA Conference Funding Application” in the subject line, to jane@hmana.org. We want to support participation from students and marginalized communities, so prioritization will be given to those identifying as Black, Indigenous, a person of color, woman, LGBTQ+, and/or disabled.
