HMANA members across the continent communicate with each other online through the BIRDHAWK listserv.  BIRDHAWK is devoted to the advancement of knowledge of hawk migration in North America and worldwide. The HMANA list welcomes data and information contributed about migratory patterns of diurnal raptors by HMANA members and others associated with hawk migration sites primarily in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America. The discussions presented here are intended to further the study of raptor migration, population health, and for their own sake. The forum is open to all interested parties. Please! NO ADVERTISING.

The list was based at the University of Arizona from 1997 to 2012; it is now housed at HMANA. It is administered by Jason Sodergren (, the list owner.
